Health Canada has a very stringent guideline for testing of N95 masks and all RONCO N95 masks have been tested against these and meet or exceed the required guidelines. The parameters against which the masks are tested are:

• PFA – Particulate Filtration Efficiency
• BFA – Bacterial Filtration Efficiency
• Differential Pressure / Breathing Resistance – both inhalation and exhalation
• Head strap strength performance
• Fluid resistance
• Biocompatibility (skin sensitivity)
• Flammability
• Fit testing

RONCO N95 mask test report data can be downloaded from our website. They are found under the Compliance tab on the product page.

The N95 masks are not tested against virus. They are tested for Level3 fluid penetration which means they have the highest protection standard against blood, bodily fluids, or saliva (when for instance someone coughs).

RONCO Pleated masks have not been tested for hypoallergenic requirements.
RONCO N95 masks have been tested for biocompatibility and cytotoxicity – cytotoxicity and sensitivity test reports are available for inner layer, foam and head straps – since these are the ones that come in contact with face.
